Kelly Lyn Day, age 49, of West Chicago, passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 10, 2020. She was born on November 27, 1971 in Geneva, IL. Kelly started her career as a teacher with the passion of helping others. This passion led her to her final position as the Student Affairs Specialist serving as Chamberlain University’s National Conduct and Complaint Administrator for all University programs. During her academic career, Kelly loved continuing her education by receiving three Master’s Degrees. Kelly was a good-hearted person, always listening to others. Her passion for helping others led her to volunteering at multiple animal shelters and food banks. She cared for her rescue dogs and guinea pigs, but most important was caring for her family. Her nieces especially meant the world to her.
